Wow. What an amazing concert! On September 9th 2017, my best friend Katie brought me to see Foster the People. Regan, our best friend, also come with us to the concert! The concert was at the Orpheum in Madison, Wisconsin. I was super excited because their newest album was just released, and I wanted to hear it live!
They had a mixture of their new songs, and their old. And of course, they played "Pumped up kicks". The visuals for this concert did not disappoint! I must say their stage setup made for great photo-ops.
The vibes were phenomenal, and Mark Foster (The lead singer) gave a great talk during the concert. He talked about how wonderful it is that we were all together, enjoying the same thing. All the differences had been pushed aside, and we all came together as one. Obviously, these weren't his exact words... but thats what I took from it.
Overall, this concert was 10 for 10. I personally feel that Foster the People preforms live even better than their records. We made friends with the people around us, had a great dance sesh, and got to enjoy some of the best live music ever!
If you haven't listened to Foster the People's NEW album, be sure to check it out. I have the album (on Spotify) to your right. Also, you can find the photos from the concert right above that.
